BIND Women is focused on empowering multicultural women by investing in initiatives that educate, support, and promote women in business across the diaspora and Africa. Women own an estimated one-third of businesses globally, and in many markets represent a significant share of small and medium-sized enterprises driving economic activity. However, persistent barriers including limited access to capital, constrained professional networks, and reduced participation in high-value negotiations continue to impact their ability to scale and fully participate in global markets. Expanding the role of women in business is not only an inclusion priority but a critical economic opportunity, with strong evidence showing that women-led enterprises contribute meaningfully to innovation, job creation, and community development.
